Break for kitty cuteness

Savoring our last days with Pekoe, who is in renal failure, quite feeble and apparently mostly blind and deaf. That cat still knows how to nap though. Dave knows how gooey I get about this particular sleeping position--paw over his face--second only to the insanely cute fish pose (yoginis, you know this one).

    Oh my dear, I am so so sorry about Pekoe. How much we miss them when they're gone is a testament to the love they brought to our lives when they are with us. The eternal optimist, I'm hoping for a full renal turn-around. Blind? Deaf? Eh, no problem. The wee one can still conquer the world. Ok, maybe just the house, but still...
